Melbourne Office - Mid Level Web Analyst/Programmer

InteractSport is Australia’s leading provider of web based sporting administration/management solutions.

We are a small but growing organisation with clients ranging from high profile national organisations right down to small grass roots based clubs and associations.

We are based in South Melbourne and are looking for a skilled ‘self starter’ to help us expand our range existing product lines and help us develop new product lines.

The role will include and not be limited to various aspects of development including:

• Analysis, design, programming and testing
• Software support, optimisation and troubleshooting
• Liaison and support for current and prospective customers
• Providing advice and assisting with software migrations (eg to .NET 3.5, SQL 2005)
• Developing an understanding of our production hardware platform with a view to assist in ongoing management and improvement

Essential software skills:

• 3-5 years experience in a professional web development environment, ideally with strong experience of developing large scale web based applications in the .Net framework
• C#
• ASP.NET (v 1.1, 2.0)
• SQL Server/TSQL
• XML/XSL
• JavaScript

Desirable software skills:

• ASP
• VB.NET/VBScript
• COM

Your personal profile should include:

• Tertiary educated – Degree or Relevant Diploma
• Very strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to quickly grasp and conceptualise ideas and plans
• Flexible approach to deal with rapidly changing priorities within the business
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• An interest or participation in one or more sporting activities is desirable, but not essential
